About Me
I am a writer living in Marin, California by way of St. Louis, Missouri where I grew up, Providence, Rhode Island where I studied comparative literature at Brown, and New Haven, Connecticut, where I went to medical school. After leaving school, I moved to New York to work in magazine publishing, eventually launching my own PR firm. In 2014, I moved to the West Coast to continue my marketing career until in 2019, I began writing for children full time. That’s when magical characters started to materialize, sometimes with special messages for kids grappling with growing up and finding their place in the Universe. I am a member of SCBWI, the Manuscript Academy, and the Women’s National Book Association and actively participate in writing conferences to hone my craft.
