The Dragonfly Boy and the Black Hole
Black Holes eat things. Like stars and galaxies and even
girls and boys.
When ten-year-old Jeremy Henderson is sent off to boarding school, the last thing he expects is to meet an alien who sends him flying through the Universe to save the Milky Way from being hurtled down a distant black hole.... (in development...)

Jeremy Henderson
Nothing about the sizzling summer skies revealed that something mysterious was brewing in the Universe. No telltale signs suggested that strange cosmic forces would soon change the life of the eleven-year-old boy gazing into the mirror.
Jeremy Henderson stood in front of the upstairs bathroom sink in new gray sweatpants his ankles had already outgrown. His arms hung awkwardly by his sides having increased in size so quickly he wasn’t quite sure where to put them anymore. At least they were lengthening at similar speeds. He couldn’t imagine what kids would say if he walked around lopsided.
Thick steam from his shower hung in the air, wrapping his bare chest in a blanket of moisture. Practically overnight, his torso had stretched out like a rubber band, so that now (he was convinced) he looked like a lanky string bean. Everything, everything was changing. But what was changing the most were his eyes. Liquid green orbs as deep as the darkness inside a black hole. Empowered (but not yet) to gaze into galaxies in faraway skies.
