Moon
I’m June
I live on the Moon
And look out on the Earth
I can see Rome and Paris
Chicago, Madrid and Perth.
And while the roads are rocky
And I eat a lot of cheese
I love that I am free
To do exactly as I please.
Every day I sing!
I’m not scared to be alone
I can always wave to Alice
In her palace on a thrown.
I’m June
I live on the Moon
Right in the Milky Way
It’s really quite delightful
And so I think I’ll stay.
But if I ever want
A new home in the stars
I’ll leave the Moon (but not too soon)
And head straight off to Mars.
